Michael Jackson’s billboard billboard, located at the corner of North and South Van Ness Avenue in New York City, has had a major effect on the city’s hip-hop community, with more than 400,000 people visiting the site in the last week.
The billboard, which features images of Jackson and a message reading, “I want to share your love,” has attracted over 10 million views in its first week, with some fans posting comments like, “We all need to go and see Michael Jackson.”
A representative for the billboard company told Buzzfeed that the company is planning to continue the campaign in the coming weeks.
“We are not planning to stop this campaign at this point, and we have plans for additional advertising that will continue to reach out to the community,” the representative told the publication.
“In the future, we are planning to bring in more media partnerships to help drive awareness for this campaign and to promote Michael Jackson and the music industry in general.”
